The Adidas Spain 2024 away jersey is inspired by the country's sand dunes, hence its distinctive yellow colour and its combination with light blue on the sides and lower back, featuring sand graphics. Like the home jersey, it has a carnation, the national flower of the country, on the upper back. This symbolic choice is rooted in history, tracing back to the legacy of Emperor Charles I and V of Germany, who gave the first carnation in Spain to his wife, Isabel of Portugal. The Empress was captivated by this flower, leading the Emperor to order the planting of thousands of carnations in the gardens of the Alhambra. After Isabel's death, the Emperor arranged for her to be buried surrounded by her favourite flowers, thus marking the beginning of the carnation as the national flower of Spain.
This jersey, which Spain will wear in Euro 2024, is available for purchase at the official online store of Adidas Spain (adidas.es), offering both the authentic and stadium versions. Additionally, customisation options are available, allowing fans to acquire the jersey with their preferred name and number, or with that of their favourite Spanish player.
